Proof of Workforce Foundation Integrates Bitcoin into Public Sector Employment

The strategic partnership will shift how compensation and support for employees in government are approached, with the core being financial security, talent attraction, and innovation.

This initiative will explore novel ways of integrating Bitcoin into a public sector compensation package using salary and incentive structures. It would go further to build a model, through the testing of different approaches, that is scalable for the whole nation by government employers.

The partnership has grown to include the education and professional training of public sector employees to improve financial literacy about Bitcoin so that employees can better understand and manage Bitcoin-based compensations and benefits.

Partnership Aims to Increase Bitcoin Adoption

In addition, the partnership will design and implement marketing strategies and branding to promote the benefits of Bitcoin to the public sector. The Proof of Workforce Foundation will also tailor custom training and outreach programs aimed at spurring greater adoption on the part of employees and employers in the public sector.

“We are excited to partner with Careers In Government to advance Bitcoin adoption in the public sector. This collaboration represents a significant step forward in empowering government employers and employees to embrace the benefits of this innovative technology,” said Dom Bei, Founder of the Proof of Workforce Foundation.

That partnership represents an extension of the Proof of Workforce Foundation’s plan to help integrate Bitcoin into government operations. In January, POWF made headlines after partnering with the City of Santa Monica to build the latter an official Bitcoin office at no cost to them.
