Key Points:
On September 15, World Liberty Financial (WLFI) announced that Scroll co-founder Sandy Peng had joined as an advisor. Peng, who previously worked at Fission Capital and the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission, brings a wealth of experience to the board.
WLFI has been expanding its advisory team since August 30. Corey Caplan, Alexei Dulub, and Ogle were announced earlier. Rafael Yakobi and Luke Pearson preceded Peng for the project’s diverse advisory team.
The WLFI project, supported by the family of Donald Trump, will be launched on September 16. It will be launched with a live stream by Donald Trump himself, although details of the project remain sketchy.
For WLFI security, it will be partnering with security firms such as Zokyo, Fuzzland, PeckShield, and BlockSec. The project is designed in cooperation with Aave in developing a platform that will spearhead DeFi even more, and will be supportive of U.S.-pegged stablecoins with an effort to reinforce the American financial dominance.
