As of today, PayPal’s stablecoin, PYUSD, is available to purchase via MoonPay with all major payment methods in all supported countries, excluding Canada. This follows a strategic partnership that aims at increasing access to digital assets.
By integrating MoonPay, users will be able to buy PYUSD-a dollar-redeemable stablecoin backed by U.S. dollar deposits and short-term U.S. Treasuries-easily, which extends the latter’s presence in the world.

MoonPay has officially added PayPal’s PYUSD to its platform; it can be purchased in all supported countries except Canada. The stablecoin is part of PayPal’s bigger plan to stake a claim in the fintech crypto market.
Because the PYUSD is collateralized through U.S. dollar deposits, this deal solidifies its position as a premium stablecoin and gives consumers more options for secure, fiat-backed digital assets.
