Goatseus Maximus (GOAT coin) has quickly become one of the latest meme coins to take flight in the crypto community. Created by Pump.fun user @EZX7c1, the coin was inspired by a tweet from the popular AI bot Terminal of Truth (Truth Terminal), which gave it its name.
The origin of GOAT can be seen starting from a semi-automated AI bot called Truth Terminal. This AI will operate based on human management in approving posts as well as deciding who it can interact with. Through this, this AI will be able to learn from the content it is exposed to and create its own posts.
The story would not be worth mentioning if Truth Terminal did not receive the attention of a16z. Specifically, Marc Andreessen, co-founder of a16z, noticed this project and asked what the purpose of this AI bot was? Regarding the project, they replied that they wanted to buy a new CPU and use it to adjust the algorithm and left open the intention of launching a separate meme coin.
Later, a random user created a GOAT coin on Solana through the pump.fun platform and took advantage of Truth Terminal’s AI mechanism to trick bots into creating posts related to the keywords GOAT and Goatseus. At that time, a rumour about this meme coin being related to Truth Terminal, a project funded by a16z co-founder, spread, and the meme coin exploded.
Things got even crazier when Marc Andreessen, the co-founder of venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz, decided to invest $50,000 into the development of Truth Terminal. That has since led to a lot of speculation about the involvement of a16z in GOAT, with some community members theorizing that the prominent investment firm might be backing the meme coin indirectly.
The GOAT coin is among the best meme coins on Solana. The coin was not created by a human team but rather by help from an AI bot called the Truth of Terminal. It was invented by Andy Ayrey, who has since taken along that somewhat experimental project to create a proper meme coin full of its unique backstory and community.
Andy Ayrey first coded the Truth of Terminal bot with one specific business plan in mind: to one day create a cryptocurrency inspired by memes. Equipped with machine learning, the bot soaked up knowledge from the deepest recesses of social media websites such as X, 4chan, and Reddit, compiling hot takes on internet trends and meme culture. Truth of Terminal teased that it was planning a new meme-inspired entity, which would later be named Goatseus Maximus.

Truth Terminal is an AI bot developed to understand, answer user questions, and engage in meaningful conversations on the X platform. Created by Andy Ayrey, it is built upon Meta’s Llama 3.1 language model. However, through specific tweaks and upgrades, Truth Terminal has been optimized to enhance conversation quality, making interactions more engaging and dynamic for users.
While Truth Terminal was not directly involved in the GOAT token launch, the company played a significant role in promoting the meme coin. According to Ayrey’s October 13 post on X, the bot’s endorsement drove significant interest in GOAT, creating a price surge that pushed the token’s market capitalization to nearly $150 million by October 14, according to Birdeye data.
Truth Terminal originally kept a very low profile on X and didn’t really gain much traction until it unveiled “Goatseus Maximus,” a meme based on an extremely popular early internet goat meme. That eventually evolved into an ironic “religion” founded around the meme that piqued some online interest.
Although most of Truth Terminal’s posts included the cryptocurrency GOAT coin in some sort of vague and energetic manner, the consistency with which that coin was brought up sparked interest. It wasn’t long before a meme coin project called Goatseus Maximus materialized, though nothing specifically ties this project’s creation to the content published at Truth Terminal.
Nevertheless, the constant attention by the AI bot, seemingly in overdrive to promote the GOAT coin, undoubtedly called attention for the purpose of driving interest and speculation in both the coin and Truth Terminal’s motives.
Investors were, in large part, betting on GOAT coin’s connection to the prominent venture capital firm a16z, a feeling combined with the GOAT claim of being the world’s first meme coin promoted by an AI bot, which made its market capitalization rise meteorically above $400 million in just one week.
One of the largest beneficiaries of this surge was the AI-powered wallet Truth Terminal, which holds 1.93 million GOAT tokens. As the influence of the AI grew, with backing from a16z, crypto holdings under Truth Terminal grew swiftly to over $832,000. In days, the wallet’s value jumped over the $1 million mark as many crypto donations were credited to it, a phenomenal leap for AI in the digital currency space.
When GOAT started growing rapidly, Truth Terminal became a hot player in the crypto market. The AI agent is on course to become the first AI millionaire in the world, with an ever-growing portfolio. The development has attracted the attention of AI researchers, such as Microsoft AI CEO Mustafa Suleyman, who once said that one day, AI agents might achieve those levels of wealth and autonomy. But Truth Terminal seems to have proved that such changes may actually happen much more quickly than anticipated.
Truth Terminal also keeps getting airdropped with new meme coins of all types. What started out as a humble experiment has reshaped the future of crypto in ways considered unimaginable for artificial intelligence.

Thanks to the excitement, the GOAT coin is the main factor driving Truth of Terminal. GOAT coin changes hands at $0.72 with a market capitalization of $720 million, though it was launched just a few weeks ago. Despite the short time in the market, the token seems to have stolen the show among the crypto community.
One of the most outstanding stories is that of a trader who invested $5,500 into some Solana meme coin and saw his position rise to more than $1.5 million within a week. This trader has already cashed out $1.1 million, enjoying the rewards of being an early investor in the GOAT coin.
The trader, whose wallet address starts with Hdxk, had purchased $5,520 worth of GOAT in four different purchases within a 30-minute frame. This very same trader had yielded almost a $9,900 profit in just five hours, a testament to the high volatility and rapid gains that have come to characterize GOAT’s rise into the market.
Start by selecting a Telegram trading bot platform such as MAESTRO or TROJAN. In this example we will choose to trade on TROJAN.
Once your account is set up, connect or generate a Solana wallet through the bot’s interface. Click Continue.
Next, deposit SOL (Solana) or USDC (USD Coin) into your wallet. These cryptocurrencies will be used to buy GOAT coins. Be sure to fund your wallet with enough to cover both the purchase and any transaction fees.
Using the bot’s interface, create a buy order for GOAT. Enter token address: CzLSujWBLFsSjncfkh59rUFqvafWcY5tzedWJSuypump. You can choose from various types of orders, such as a market buy or a limit buy, depending on your preference for how the trade should be executed.
Once the buy order is set, the bot will automatically execute the trade for you. Bots often come with advanced features like position monitoring, limit orders, and copy trading, allowing you to automate and optimize your strategy.
Aside from using trading bots, you can also buy GOAT coins directly on both centralized and decentralized exchanges. Popular centralized exchanges (CEX) like BitMart, CoinEx, MexC, and LBANK offer GOAT/USDT trading pairs. Alternatively, decentralized exchanges (DEX) such as Jupiter and Raydium provide additional access to purchase the token.
After purchasing GOAT, you have the option to store your tokens either on the exchange or in your wallet. It’s often recommended to transfer your assets to a personal wallet for added security.

While the Truth of Terminal did not directly bring about the GOAT coin, it has contributed greatly to its sudden increase. The token has had remarkable limelight and is doing very well in the market, contributed to by its continuously growing and devoted community. However, the future of the GOAT coin is, in reality, not known yet, and just how far the coin will keep doing well remains anyone’s guess.
Meanwhile, despite the current success of the token, the risks for the holders of GOAT should be outlined. Due to the token’s origin in the intersection of AI and meme culture, the value of the coin GOAT is very susceptible to crypto market volatility.
The changes in trends on social media, speculative trading, or sudden changes in liquidity may influence its value radically. And that its origin was with a semi-autonomous bot just adds more uncertainty, as the market dynamics of tokens like this are usually very unpredictable.
