Renault Partners With The SandBox For Automotive Development In Metaverse
Renault Korea Motors and the Sandbox Metaverse announced new cooperation on Monday to support their customers’ unique digital experiences by using the power of emerging technology.
According to a statement from the Sandbox metaverse, the cooperation aims to provide vehicle experiences that have undergone significant digital transformations due to key blockchain developments such as connection and Web3-based solutions.
Cindy Lee, the CEO of The Sandbox Korea, said:
‘’The partnership would build around offering new types of experiences that combine automobiles and digital assets in The Sandbox.”
The premium Korean automaker says it is committed to capitalizing on virtual world potential to power next-generation equipment, focusing on virtual reality, gaming, NFTs, and Blockchain. Renault joins other automakers such as Ferrari, Mercedes-Benz, the Virtual Porsche, and BWM in adapting to Web3 solutions technology by developing and enabling ADAS capabilities in their vehicles.
“This partnership is an excellent example of a collaboration The Sandbox can develop without any industrial boundaries,” Lee added.
Sandbox has aggressively pushed its partners, investors, and developers to be more imaginative, and users may now buy virtual land to create their digital world. The company plans to launch a play station capable of producing 5,000 games by the end of 2023. Users can now work online thanks to the addition of in-game jobs.
