Overview of the SKALE Network

The SKALE Network (SKL) is a blockchain protocol that aims to create high-performance sidechains for the easy and rapid deployment of smart contracts. Unlike other network architectures, SKALE is designed specifically to support decentralized applications (dApps) and a growing number of blockchains. It operates primarily on the Ethereum platform, providing management and coordination for important platforms while increasing transparency and security.

SKALE allows for the launch of dApps on a highly scalable blockchain, exclusively available for the dApp and user ecosystem. It eliminates concerns about gas fees and connections to the Ethereum Mainnet, while also providing access to decentralized storage, website servers, and messaging within the same chain.

The Solution Provided by SKALE Network

The SKALE Network aims to address the scalability limitations of the Ethereum platform without replacing it. It leverages the Ethereum network to allow developers to easily build and migrate smart contracts to the SKALE Network. Additionally, SKALE optimizes construction fees to be more cost-effective while still utilizing the features provided by Ethereum.

Structure of the SKALE Network

The SKALE Network consists of two main components: SKALE Nodes and SKALE Manager.

SKALE Nodes

SKALE Nodes play a crucial role in creating and deleting virtualized subnodes and coordinating interactions with the SKALE Manager. These nodes comprise multiple virtualized subnodes, which integrate node cores.

Virtualized subnodes work with various elastic sidechains, randomly arranged. These elastic sidechains are compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), making it easy to deploy smart contracts while ensuring security. Participants in the SKALE Network can choose their preferred elastic sidechain configurations.

SKALE Manager

The SKALE Manager operates within the Ethereum network and manages tasks related to smart contracts.
