Polkadot’s Creators Reveal Details of Its Largest Annual Conference

On June 29-30, the largest gathering for the worldwide Polkadot (DOT) community in 2022 will take place, the organizers shared the agenda with over 100 speakers and tens of thousands of guests.

Polkadot will be held in four cities by the Web3 Foundation and Parity

According to Polkadot’s founders from the Web3 Foundation and Parity Technologies, Decoded, one of the largest conferences in crypto, is set to go live on June 29.

Four key global blockchain centers will have in-person events: Berlin, New York, Buenos Aires, and Hangzhou. Seoul, Valencia, Mexico City, and other cities will host side events.

Dr. Gavin Wood, the originator of DOT, will talk to attendees in both New York and Buenos Aires. Moonbeam, Polkadot’s first parachain, will be honored during events in New York. Manta Network, Parallel Finance, Acala, and Equilibrium, along with Parity’s Shawn Tabrizi, will demonstrate Polkadot’s XCM protocol’s disruptive power.

The Centrifuge, SubQuery, Astar, and Robonomics teams will be discussing real-world use of DOT and Kusama instruments during the Berlin events.

All visitors will receive exclusive NFTs

Litentry, Phala Network, Gear Tech, and Open Square will present on the first day of the Chinese portion of the program, while CESS Cloud, Bifrost, and PolkaWorld will speak on June 30, 2022.

The Polkadot team will distribute 50,000 special NFTs to commemorate the start of this crucial conference. These digital collectibles will be given away for free to all in-person participants.

Bertrand Perez, CEO of the Web3 Foundation, emphasizes the conference’s community-driven nature and its global side events:

We value our supporters across the world and encourage the local Polkadot communities in all countries to organize their own events. These events could include social gatherings, panels and networking events. Or you could consider hosting an event to allow people to gather together to watch the live streamed talks. With such a huge volume of talks scheduled, covering every aspect of the Polkadot and Kusama ecosystems – and with many of their respective parachain teams featured – there really is something for everyone.

Important announcements and substantial technological design demos at previous Decoded conferences created headlines in 2020-2021.
