Binance Trains The Brazilian Federal Police On Crypto

Binance, the largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, has partnered with the Brazilian Federal police to provide training on crypto, blockchain, and anti-money laundering in digital assets.

Brazilian police receive training from Binance

On Friday, Changpeng Zhao (CZ), the CEO of Binance, tweeted an update on the platform’s progress over the previous 48 hours. One of them is offering the Brazilian Federal police crypto training—a first for such a platform.

In a separate report from The National, it was found that Binance Research, which provides professional, data-driven insights and analysis to increase the level of transparency, is going to provide the training on blockchain and cryptocurrencies.

The Brazilian federal police and other agencies, as well as members of the international cybercrime specialists, have been invited as guests to the workshop, where they will all learn more about cryptocurrencies and the sector as a whole.

The whole course will span three days and cover blockchain, crypto laws, and AML guidelines for digital assets.

Security is a top priority for Binance

Over the years, the security and investigation team of Binance has dealt with a wide variety of fraud and schemes. The platform has also been aggressively tracking various actors and has been effective in locating individual accounts linked to criminal and terrorist behavior.

A 150-person security and investigations team on the platform handles the most challenging security issues. It accomplishes this by cooperating with law enforcement organizations all across the world and working across the public and commercial sectors.
