The Richest Whale Wallet Accumulating BTC Can Make $102 Million In A Month

The wallet, ranking third in Bitcoin holdings behind two crypto exchange wallets, bought 4,816 BTC over the past month, splurging over $102 million in the process.

Accumulating BTC is still the trend of whale wallets

As the bearish trend in the cryptocurrency market continues, the wealthiest non-exchange Bitcoin wallet is on a buying binge.

The wallet, ranking third in Bitcoin holdings behind two crypto exchange wallets, bought 4,816 BTC over the past month, splurging over $102 million in the process.

The disputed Bitcoin wallet contained 127,873 BTC at the start of June. It has acquired multiple Bitcoins in various amounts over the past month, yet there has only been one withdrawal, bringing the total to 132,190 valued $2.53 billion.

As of this writing, the whale purchased 186 BTC today for $3.58 million, making it the most recent buy. The whale also purchased 601 and 815 BTC for $11.31 million and $16.94 million, respectively, over the past three days. From 36 BTC to 488 BTC were spent on other purchases throughout the month.

Only one batch of 500 BTC, totaling $15.062 at the time of sale, was sold by the whale in June. A month ago, bitcoin was selling for nearly $30,000. Today, it is worth $19,222, a decrease of more than 5% from yesterday’s price.

In June, IntoTheBlock said the number of giga-whales had reached a new high.

The firm also notes that holders of BTC in smaller amounts are also accumulating.
