Ducati Launches First NFT Collection In Partnership With Ripple
Italian motorcycle manufacturer Ducati has announced plans to launch its first NFT collection in partnership with NFT PRO and Ripple.
This will be the first concept implemented by a world-renowned motorcycle manufacturer, primarily aimed at strengthening its contact with its community, Ducatisti, and increasing brand awareness. With this decision, Ducati announced its entry into the Web3 space.
NFT PRO is said to be responsible for developing the collection as the company specializes in white label NFT solutions for businesses. Ripple, or rather XRP Ledger (XRPL), will take on the role of blockchain technology development for Ducati’s NFT projects.
In fact, the XRP Ledger is slowly becoming an increasingly popular platform for creating and developing NFTs. In January 2022, Ripple first released the NFT test version on the XRP Ledger, while also upgrading the protocol standard, allowing users to explore the full NFT functions on the platform, setting the stage firmly to embrace the key growth trend in the current market.
Coupled with the announced launch of the XLS-20 protocol, backed by Ripple’s $250 million NFT fund, and carefully built innovations like Hooks, XRPL’s presence in the NFT segment could become a serious competitor in the upcoming big platform race.
