Colombia’s Land Registry’s First Version Debuts On XRPL In A Historic Achievement
To record the first adjudication resolution in Colombia on XRPL, Ripple partner Peersyst Technology, a Barcelona-based software development company, has announced that it has produced the first version of the National Land Registry.
The first application is a digital asset notarization tool created on the XRP Ledger (XRPL), which will be used by the Colombian government as a registry for land allocations. The National Land Agency “AgenciaTierras” of Colombia has implemented the solution, which uses the XRP stamp to enable digital assets to be registered on XRP Ledger and their authenticity to be validated using a QR code. The initiative aims to register more than 100,000 adjudications in the near future to ensure confidence for Colombians.
Peersyst Technology has collaborated with Ripple for a long time and has received Wave 2 XRP Ledger funding for a different NFT project.
Wanchain bridge now enables cross-XRPL transactions
Wanchain, a decentralized blockchain interoperability solution, recently constructed a bridge that now enables XRP cross-chain transactions to be carried out on the XDC Network.
Numerous XRP Ledger interoperability attempts have emerged in recent months. Multichain continued to play a significant part in this by working with initiatives like Sologenic and onXRP.com.
A cross-chain DeFi platform for native assets in XRPL and Avalanche To connect assets between chains, OnAVAX works with Multichain and the Avalanche protocol.
