In an Aug 20 tweet, Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson, emphasizing the essence of proper communication, stated:

SPOs, developers, and exchanges are presently undertaking final integration testing and upgrading in preparation for the hard fork combinator event, with a node release candidate (1.35.3) given an updated downstream component.

Cardano Users Can Now Track Vasil's Progress On IOG Platform

Vasil functionality is reliant on the vast majority of block-producing nodes running the most recent 1.35.3 release. To initiate the upgrade, the last Vasil node candidate must create 75% of mainnet blocks (1.35.3). According to IOG’s assessment, the Vasil node has created 48% of mainnet blocks as of August 26.

The Cardano founder also recently revealed the launch time for the upcoming hard fork making the ADA community more “peaceful” after many update delays.
