Mango Markets Attacker Identity Revealed?

An investigative article about the $114 million hack from the Defi Mango Markets platform built on Solana is being shared widely. The article revealed the identity of the alleged perpetrator of the hack named Avraham Eisenberg.

On the evening of October 12, the crypto community circulated an investigative article about the price manipulation attack targeting the Mango Markets derivatives trading platform on Solana, which claimed to have unmasked the culprit. This person, named Avraham Eisenberg.

The proof came when the author of the article said that they were in a chart group on Discord and Eisenberg bragged about having found a way to extract up to 9 digits of minecraft chain from a project. Eisenberg’s Discord account uses the username “Vires Creditor and Honest Person”.

The account also shares being the owner of the domain ponzishorter.eth. Tracing the attacker’s transactions, it can be seen that the amount of money used as collateral originated in an FTX account, then 30 million USDC was transferred to the address ponzishorter.eth.

Six months ago, the site also revealed a document written by a group of anonymous whistleblowers summarizing the facts of a scam, which accused Avraham Eisenberg of defrauding about 6,000 to appropriate $14 million.

Earlier, the account that is believed to be the account of the attacker to Mango Markets submitted a proposal to the project forum, claiming to be willing to return part of the money in exchange for not being investigated and criminally prosecuted.
