In the integrated Heat Core modules, heat is removed from the mining chips using water cooling. The Pennsylvania firm said the process was 95% efficient.

MicroBT said that they are committed to using green energy for mining.

As part of this policy, Heat Core introduced Methane Green modules to mine the first cryptocurrency powered by associated gas. Similar technology is used, for example, by Crusoe or Giga Energy Solutions. These plants burn methane more completely than traditional flares, reducing emissions of this greenhouse gas.

The pilot launch ceremony at the Titan Energy Park facility in Bellefonte, PA, was attended by industry representatives such as Duke Energy, Galaxy Digital, Foundry, Bitfarms, and Northern Data.
