StarkNet Will Launch Second Testnet On Goerli
StarkNet will launch a second testnet on Goerli and begin soliciting named proposals in the community. The new testnet is designed to allow developers to test their applications in an undisturbed environment.
On October 30, Golden Finance reported that StarkNet will launch a second testnet on Goerli and start calling for proposals to be named in the community. The new testnet is designed to allow developers to test their applications in an undisturbed environment.
The proposal states that the current testnets are called “Goerli1” and “Goerli2”, but there must be a better naming system. Naming should include the theme and have a uniquely identifiable name, taking into account the order in which the web evolved.
StarkNet is an Ethereum layer 2 solution in the form of a ZK-Rollup solution. It allows any dApp to run, operate, and scale without limits without compromising Ethereum’s synergies and security.
The contract and the StarkNet operating system are written in the Cairo programming language – a programming language that supports the deployment and scaling of Dapps or smart contracts, regardless of the business logic.
