The most popular NFT marketplace Opensea has launched 2 features against phishing attacks and user protection.
2 new features were launched in an effort to protect users from phishing attacks and prevent stolen NFTs from being sold on its platform.
One is a new anti-theft feature that proactively scans URLs to prevent malicious links from appearing on fraudulent listings. Another feature is a new detection feature that automatically detects and flags potentially stolen or transferred NFTs and bans their transactions on the platform.
OpenSea says it is working with other companies in the NFT space to reduce scams. On November 1st, OpenSea launched a new clone detection system that can identify new duplicate detection that can accurately identify NFT clone matches, flips and blurs in seconds.
Previously, on October 30, the platform also had to remove a series of fake NFT Reddit distributed.
