Sam Bankman-Fried Hopes To Start New Business To Pay Back FTX Victims
According to BBC, the former FTX CEO, Sam Bankman-Fried says he hopes to launch a new company in order to generate enough revenue to compensate FTX collapse victims.
After Inviting the BBC to the Bahamas apartment building where he currently resides, Mr. Bankman-Fried expressed his hope to find a way to compensate FTX users.
I’m going to be thinking about how we can help the world and if users haven’t gotten much back, I’m going to be thinking about what I can do for them. And I think at the very least I have a duty to FTX users to do right by them as best as I can.
Sam Bankman-Fried said in the interview with BBC
When the interviewer asked if Bankman-Fried planned to start a new business venture to earn the money to pay investors back, the FTX founder answered that he would give anything to be able to take the thereof in action, and he is going to try if he can.
Besides, a former senior FTX employee who worked with Sam Bankman-Fried accused the FTX founder of lying in recent interviews, when Mr.Bankman-Fried said that he did not know about the flows of cash and cryptocurrencies between the companies mentioning Alameda Research using FTX customer funds.
