What is Adventure Gold (AGLD)? Binance announces AGLD listing

The Binance cryptocurrency exchange has notification that they will list Adventure Gold (AGLD) in the “Innovation Zone” this afternoon.

The exchange will open trading for the AGLD / BNB, AGLD / BTC, AGLD / BUSD, and AGLD / USDT pairs at 2:00 p.m. (Synthetic Team time) on October 5th.

What is Adventure Gold (AGLD)?

Adventure Gold (AGLD) is the native ERC-20 token of the Loot NFT project. Loot is a random, text-based adventure device that is generated and stored in a chain. The project intentionally has no user interface, visuals, statistics or front-end functionality. Instead, it relies on a collection of 8,000 NFTs of open text so the community can interpret it the way they want.

What is Adventure Gold AGLD Binance announces AGLD listing

Adventure Gold was launched on September 2, 2021 and allows every Loot NFT holder to claim 10,000 tokens for free. With AGLD’s price skyrocketing in the early trading days, this airdrop is worth $ 70,000 per NFT.

Adventure Gold was founded by Will Papper who is also the co-founder of Syndicate DAO, a decentralized investment protocol. He created Adventure Gold in response to Vitalik Buterin supporting the loot project and encouraging others to build on it. Papper started Adventure Gold the day after Vitalik Buterin’s recommendation, by writing most of the code in four hours at a small Oregon airport.

Adventure Gold follows the approach that the basic loot NFT took in building the loot community as a form of support. While the simplicity and uniqueness of Loot itself has inspired the Web3 community to develop many derivative projects based on their code, Adventure Gold itself is designed to be used as a governance token, allowing users to vote or as a Use loot currency.
