Telegram basic user manual

If you are new to the cryptocurrency market, the fastest way to join the crowd is to join chat channels and follow market updates through the Telegram app.

Basically, Telegram is similar to other popular messaging and calling applications in Vietnam like Messenger or Zalo, but the highlight of Telegram is that it focuses on user privacy and information security in one way. Safe, easy, fast and completely free, you can completely use Telegram on all devices at the same time, synchronize messages on any phone, tablet or PC. Telegram allows users to create chat groups with up to 200,000 people or channels with an unlimited number of participants.

And precisely because it focuses on the privacy of its users, it has become the most widely used application in the global crypto community.

You just need to install the version that is compatible with the operating system you are using: IOS, Android, PC … then enter your phone number, follow the steps below and you are ready to use it.

This is the basic user interface after you’ve completed the initial installation. (Yours will likely be a little different because this is your first time joining.)

Personal data settings

Next you should “the settings“To set up basic personal information.

Security settings

After the section with your personal information, you should go to “Privacy and Security” to install additional security features for your account. This is essential if you really want to go long in this market.

Inside there will be some of the following features:

• PRIVACY (Private)

  • Blocked users: Block people you don’t want to text messages to here

  • Last seen: This is a time stamp function, for example, you are online, before 5.10, .. min, like on Facebook, you can customize it for others.

  • Voice calls: Who can call you

  • Groups & channels: Who can add you to groups and channels (If you don’t want to be added to different groups and channels at random, select “My Contacts” in this section)

• SECURITY (Security)

  • Passcode and Face ID: Add a PIN code or use Face ID when you open the Telegram app

  • Two-step confirmation: 2-step verification (2FA), you can add a code so that when your Telegram account logs in from another device (e.g. computer, web), Telegram asks for this code in order to be able to log in . This is the part that you should install to protect your Telegram account.

How to add friends to Telegram

Adding friends to Telegram is extremely easy. If you want to befriend someone, just click on that person’s profile, then hit the Add to Contacts button and you can become friends.

Conversely, you can also block each other by scrolling down and selecting Block User.

Making friends through Telegram should only happen if we know each other. Otherwise, don’t make friends. (You can contact them to chat with them directly)

How to find groups on Telegram

You can find the name of the group you want to join in the search box on Telegram’s user interface. The example I made here is thuan capital

Leaving the channel / group being followed or joined

It’s very easy to do, you just have to find the “…” at the top of each channel and then exit channel or exit group.

How to get the link of the channel / group

To get the link of a channel or a group on Telegram, you just have to click on the 3-point field to the right of the Telegram interface.

Then select Show Channel Info / Show Group Info.

Some special notes for newbies

Always check the username

Since the username in Telegram is unique, no one can match everyone, so please check each character carefully. Take a close look at her username, not her bio.

This is important when the people you want to speak to privately are KOLs.

Beware of strangers texting you.

It is usually normal to text each other, but if someone claims to be a famous group admin and calls you and recommends a specific service, you need to be careful.

Chances are it is a fake admin group account and it is most likely these CHEATERS.
