Despite the substantial sum involved, $8 million represents only a fraction of the $3 billion worth of assets held by HTX Global’s users. It’s also just a small portion of the platform’s two weeks’ revenue.

In response to the hack, HTX Global is offering a 5% white hat reward, amounting to $400,000 USD, to encourage the hacker to return the stolen funds.
