Apeiron Review: Apeiron is a classic God-game meets adventure play-to-earn game on the blockchain. It’s the product of the project team’s six years of dedicated effort, with an ambitious goal to revive and modernize the once-popular God-game genre for the Web3 space and metaverse. In Apeiron, players shape their planet uniquely and create waves of civilizations’ rise and fall through the game’s three core features: God-Game Stimulation, Action-RPG, and NFT.

What is Apeiron?

The Apeiron NFT game project is a cornerstone in the trend of building ecosystems based on Token gameplay and pay-to-earn tactics. However, unlike the dual-Token mechanism of previous games, Apeiron NFT has created a three-Token system that includes governance, play-to-earn, and alliance tokens, to simulate an explosive real-world experience.

The NFTs of the Apeiron NFT project, in the form of Planets, Stars, and Artifacts, legally place ownership in the players’ hands. Whatever you create within Apeiron – the planets you construct – they are yours: hold them, sell them, or use them within the larger NFT metaverse.

Preparing for Battle

1. Once in the Arena, you can set up your teams.
2. Choose an Avatar from your owned Planets to lead your team.
3. Go to the Skill Tree to equip your Avatar with the desired skills and perks for the battle. Remember to attach your skills after you’ve upgraded them!
4. Pick up to 6 Apostles from your collection to join your Avatar.
5. Locate a match and prepare for the showdown!

Battle!

1. Each contest is a three-match series where the first to vanquish the opponent’s Avatar wins the round.
2. Before the skirmish starts, you can select four Apostles and strategize their placement on the battlefield.
3. The battle commences!
4. As the fight progresses, a death ring manifests and gradually narrows. Be swift! Units beyond the ring will sustain continuous harm.
5. Skillful manipulation of your Avatar and Apostle abilities will lead you to triumph!

Enter the Dungeon

Prepare to conquer the depths of the spiritual Dirac Dimension! Sent by the High Goddess Cosmos, you’re tasked with battling Chaos’ armies, defeating bosses, collecting rare Artifacts, and rescuing epic dood Apostles.

Apeiron’s procedurally generated dungeons ensure each run is unique. Encounter new dood Apostles with special combat skills and discover Artifacts for powerful build-around bonuses.

Delve into Depths, facing challenging Boss monsters every three levels. As you go deeper, the danger escalates, but so do the rewards. How far can you go?

God-Game Simulation

Inspired by classic god games, this mode allows you to take control of a planet full of gods and use your divine powers to shape the world through incredible elemental Miracles.

The Basics: In order to interact with a Planet, your Godling will take its Spirit Core and inhabit an EDEN, mysterious structures dotting the surface of most Planets. Once your Spirit Core takes control of an EDEN on a planet you own, you will have power over that Planet and be able to shape it in your image

• Each Planet Type will have its own biome based on its elemental composition, leading to unique gameplay.
• Players will use Miracles to slowly grow a small dood village into a thriving dood civilization.
• Dood communities will utilize our DoodGPT AI system to dynamically present the player with different missions and events so that there is always something new to discover. These are living, breathing worlds!

Miracles: Using the EDEN, players can perform Miracles to answer the prayers of their doods. There will be a variety of powerful miracles that players will have access to, such as Elemental, Healing, Blessings, Punishments, and even powerful planetary miracles that affect the world on a global scale. Through these Miracles, players can respond to the dynamic missions and events generated by the dood community AIs and by the game world itself.

Alignment: As you cast Miracles, your Alignment will shift towards either good or evil. Dood followers will present the player with prayers. Answer them benevolently, and your alignment will move towards good, opening up special skills, quests, and an angelic appearance for your world. Conversely, should you repeatedly punish the Doods for their impudence, you will shift to evil – also with its own unique unlocks and slowly transforming the world into a demonic hellscape.

Dood Followers Monthly Leaderboard: Every month, a leaderboard will track how many followers – which is to say, how many doods on your Planet(s) believe in you and worship you as their primary god – each player has gained. More followers, rank up! Higher rank, cool rewards at the end of the season.

Armageddon: As time goes on, your Planet will become fully developed. But things might not have gone as you planned: certain events or crazy doods could have messed up your plans, so your Planet did not become the paradise you expected. Or maybe you’re ready to unlock the Soul Gems from the Planet to upgrade your Spirit Core to get permanent passive and active bonuses. In that case, it’s time to trigger an Armageddon! There are two options for Armageddon: the player may either perform a benevolent

Rapture for its Doods or a malevolent Sacrifice, each associated with a specific alignment, from which the player will be able to reap Soul Gems for leveling up their Spirit Core, as well as potentially other bonuses and rewards.

GvG (Guild vs Guild Alliance)

As our community of players grows and becomes more powerful, Apeiron introduces gameplay for GvG Guild vs. Guild Alliance. Players can join Alliances—formed out of Constellations of Stars—to gain access to powerful Zodiac Buffs. An Alliance will also be a social hub, groups of friends working together towards a common goal. Games are more fun when played together!

You’ll need all the help you can get because GvG gameplay will involve huge, epic Avatar battles on a never-before-seen scale. Apeiron also adds Raid Bosses to the game, who will be gatekeepers of seasonal content. Guilds will be at the forefront of taking down these Raid Bosses, and upon defeating them, they will organically trigger a new wave of content for everyone to enjoy.

• Warrior: This melee combatant is a frontline fighter with excellent armor, health, and attack stats.
• Mage: These tactically demanding spellcasters can deal wide-ranging damage and possess unique abilities.
• Rogue: This stealthy assassin is skilled in sneaky attacks and often targets weak enemies in the backlines. They have a high survivability rate.
• Guardian: As a sturdy tank, this champion possesses many abilities to enhance their defenses and control opponents.
• Hunter: This long-range attacker, or ADC, is responsible for dealing large amounts of damage over time with standard attacks.
• Priest: This champion’s main role is to heal their teammates.
• Bard: Another support champion, the Bard can buff basic stats like attack, defense, speed, and even heal (though less effectively than the Priest).
• Summoner: This champion has the unique ability to revive fallen units or armies.
• Shaman: These spellcasters can inflict ongoing damage on opponents but at the cost of their own health.
• Knight: This champion can disrupt enemy formations with resilience, creating opportunities for their team.
• Dragoon: This mid-range champion offers flexible offense and defense for the team.
• Berserker: This “all in” melee champion deals more damage the more damage they receive, proportionate to their lost health.

Gameplay of Apeiron

NFT

There are currently four NFT collections available in the game, with more to be introduced in the future. Detailed information about these collections is as follows:

Apeiron Apostles Collection

Owning this NFT enhances players’ opportunities to find and collect Dood Halo in the PvE Booty Hours mode. Additionally, it allows players to use an extra life in this game mode. Although Dood Halo, a seasonal item, doesn’t have transferable value, it is a rare commodity that can be used to upgrade Apostles into superior NFTs with improved skills, thereby increasing the player’s chances of victory in PvP battles.

Apeiron Planets

These planets have varying rarity levels, with rarer planets offering higher chances of receiving high element distribution features. The rarest planets possess four natural elements. Much like the Land NFTs in other games, owning these planet NFTs accelerates their aging process, leading to the quicker appearance of relics or, in other words, faster item mining.

Players can collect these to enhance their AVATAR’s power. Moreover, these planets can be rented out for profit. They also provide additional storage slots for soldiers and offer increased rewards when playing passive game modes.

Apeiron Stars

Holders of these assets can rent them out, providing a unique advantage for those aiming to win each season. They would need characters with rare elements and skills to boost their power. Furthermore, these assets can be used for breeding.

If a player has two such NFTs, they can create a third one, continuing this process to generate more NFTs, potentially finding rare and powerful ones to sell for profit. This mechanism is similar to the Axie in the AXS game. Additionally, owners can stake their NFTs to earn valuable future NFTs.

Apeiron Godiverse Collection

These items are dropped across various game modes. However, at any given time, a limited quantity of these items become available and will not reappear in the future. Despite their limited application—currently only used for upgrading Heroes—many features have not followed their introduction. Nonetheless, they contribute to enhancing gameplay.

Reward tokens

Apeiros (APRS)

Apeiros functions as the Governance Token for Apeiron, paralleling the role of company shares. Token holders are granted exclusive privileges and participate in voting processes that influence the game’s future development. The supply of Apeiros will be fixed.

Anima (ANIMA)

Anima is a token used in Apeiron’s Play-to-Earn mechanism. The supply of Anima is not fixed and is minted as players complete specific tasks within the game. It can be earned as a reward for various activities such as completing dungeons, accomplishing missions, or winning Player versus Player (PvP) confrontations, among others. There is a daily limit to the amount of Anima that can be generated. The Anima token is necessary for performing actions like Celestial Conjunction or Chronomerging in the game.

Ringularity (RINGU)

Ringularity serves as Apeiron’s premium token, distributed during large-scale events. Players earn Ringularity through sustained commitment in Galaxy events, World Bosses, and Alliance-level PvP content like Balance and Divine Trials. Ring owners can claim Primal Rewards from the Aither Shop. Ringularity Tokens are listed in the in-game exchange, facilitating their purchase or sale by players.

In-game economy

On top of the chart are the Star Owners, Mass Planet Breeders, and Market Aficionados. This group made substantial early investments in Apeiron and became leaders of distinct Alliances. Just beneath them are the professional players.

There are three types of experts in the game. PvP experts focus on arena combat and team formation, dedicating their efforts towards generating Apeiros, the administrative token of Apeiron. PvE experts, on the other hand, engage in reward mining through expeditions and planet development, aiming to acquire the highest-grade relics.

These players maximize short cycles quickly to generate the maximum amount of Amina tokens. Finally, Socializers take a relaxed approach, engaging in conversations with others and slowly building communities throughout their gameplay.

The Apeiron project has successfully raised over $24M in total funding. The renowned South Korean investment fund Hashed led Apeiron’s seed funding round, contributing to $10M.
