LayerZero Token Airdrop Claiming Period Closes

The detailed process for the redistribution is strictly in regard to eligibility criteria based on wallet activities after the TGE.

Additional ZRO tokens will only be provided to wallets that completed at least one transaction on LayerZero since the TGE. Wallets which have called the ZRO and who have not completed any transaction will not be able to participate in this LayerZero token airdrop. Additionally, any wallet reported as a sybil account in either Round 1 or Round 2 Audits is hereby considered ineligible.

Qualified wallets will receive extra ZRO tokens in direct proportion to their entitlement in the first airdrop at TGE, but it also takes into account how much gas fees each qualified wallet has paid since the event TGE. With this meaning, the qualified users will be receiving the original portion that was meant for them, plus the portion of tokens originally intended for the ineligible wallets.

To claim the redistributed tokens, users are advised to use the same blockchain network as their initial claim. Any tokens not claimed within 30 days will be transferred to the LayerZero Foundation.

LayerZero’s Future Expansion and Blockchain Integration Plans

In June, LayerZero distributed 8.5% of its total 1 billion ZRO supply in the form of tokens to users after several rounds of sybil wallet purges. The project is well-known for offering cross-chain asset transfer solutions, having recently raised $120 million at a $3 billion valuation.

LayerZero currently supports eight blockchain networks, such as Ethereum, Avalanche, and Solana, with ambitions for more. In addition, the company teased there will be more LayerZero token airdrops in the near future.
