SEC Shelves Decision on Ethereum ETF Options till December

The further delay by the SEC affects a proposed rule change that would allow Cboe Exchange to list options on a number of the most-popular Ethereum ETFs, including BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust and Grayscale Ethereum Trust.

Options for the listing of Ethereum ETFs have been viewed as a milestone for cryptocurrency markets. Jeff Park of Bitwise Invest termed the move a monumental advancement that could unlock new opportunities for investors looking to add some regulated crypto investment strategies to a portfolio.
