The above issues are all part of a line of theft that is devouring nearly 100 cars of all kinds, including many supercars in Hanoi and many neighboring provinces.
According to the examine because the coin trade lost too much money and couldn’t pay, Dat (30 years old) led the group to steal property. Dat discovered that after many car owners left the car in the parking lot, they gave the security guard the key, so there were many loopholes. Dat saw that the security guard was on many different shifts so he did not know all of the car owners.
Dat Fake takes advantage of this loophole and is the person who sent the car to the parking lot to ask security for a car key. When he got the security guard to give the key, he pressed the unlock button and saw the car’s lights were on and started the engine to steer the car out of the parking lot. The car was stolen, Dat brought it to Cong as a promise to spend money.

A complex criminal issue, Cong owns a pawn shop and is showing signs of accepting (in the form of self-drive rental) cars that have been stolen or rented by others. , Pawn cars because the car owner took out a mortgage at the bank, borrow money …
Kong’s trick is to have relationships with thieves often. If there are “goods”, then Cong and the thief contact. Make an appointment to take the car to Long Bien District or under Thanh Tri Bridge to buy, sell, and mortgage.
After receiving the car, Cong directed his juniors to go to the repair shop to have the repair shop staff check the tracking device attached to the car, remove the tracking device mounted on the car, and traverse the areas without cameras, to avoid the traffic control victim.
Specifically, to avoid detection, the company has rented 7 parking spaces for cars and 6 warehouses in non-residential areas in Van Giang District, Khoai Chau, Van Lam, Hung Yen Province, or other community, Duong Xa District Gia Lam, Hanoi City, to hide the vehicle evidence.
After the Criminal Investigation Department gathered enough documents on July 2 to resolve the case, the Criminal Investigation Department and related units coordinated all 5 subjects in the line, including Dat, Cong, Tu, and Dat. Trung and Ha.
Inspection carried out in 7 parking lots and 6 warehouses, where tenants hid cars and emergency services discovered and confiscated 82 cars of all types. When searching Nguyen Thanh Cong’s home and shop, police discovered and confiscated 110 documents related to the mortgage of cars .
During the investigation, the functional force discovered that the leader of the group of thieves was Dat. Dat is a well educated, wealthy family (he is very good at home). However, due to severe losses while trading coins, Dat got into debt and needed money to repay the debt.
In addition, while parking cars in the parking lot, Dat found that many car owners had returned the car keys to security after the car was brought into the parking lot, and Dat also discovered loopholes with many guards assigned many different shifts so these guards may not know all car owners.
So Dat intended to find a parking space and then asked the guard to hand over a car key. If the security guard is subjective and not paying attention, he will give Dat a car key. Dat presses the unlock button and sees which car lights up, then gets into the car to start the engine to steer the car out of the parking lot to steal it, then take it as a promise to Cong to get money .
Criminal Investigation Chief Colonel Nguyen Binh said: The Criminal Investigation Department has precisely captured the situation and accurately identified each location where the perpetrators’ cars are hidden, so they have confiscated the evidence as evidence. Almost 100 cars of all kinds, including many luxury cars, of great value …
Through the above incident, Hanoi police also warned people with cars to find safe and reputable parking spaces. In addition, the car parks must be very vigilant for people who come to send and find cars. Just pretending to be the owner of the car and asking the security guard to give the key is an easy object of theft without the security guard noticing.
