Travala, a travel company, revealed on Tuesday that shiba inu cryptocurrency has been introduced as a payment mechanism to its website.
The company’s official account tweeted congratulations to shiba inu supporters for winning the token war it put up a few days ago, noting that SHIB is now featured as a payment method on Travala.com and can be used to book over 3 million travel items globally.
On December 2, Travala scheduled a “token combat” between FLOKI and SHIB. The cryptocurrency receiving the most votes after 72 hours “shall earn a listing on Travala.com,” according to the business. Furthermore, “all users who vote for either token will receive a share of $15,000 in AVA, which will be dispersed based on votes cast.”
SHIB emerged as the obvious victor of the poll.

The cryptocurrency-friendly travel site said earlier this month that its total income for November was $7.2 million, representing a 683 percent rise year over year. Furthermore, cryptocurrencies were used to pay for 82 percent of all bookings in November.
Shiba inu Bitcoin popularity has been continuously increasing. SHIB functionality was added to cryptocurrency exchanges Kraken and Gemini in November. This month, Newegg will take Shiba Inu payments, while AMC Theatres will accept SHIB in the first quarter of next year. Meanwhile, lovers of the Shiba Inu have petitioned for the popular trading site Robinhood to accept SHIB. 544,304 signatures have been collected at the time of writing.
