Terra’s mirror log warns the community of admin attacks
The attacker launched a public poll on the official Mirror website that falsely suggested freezing the community group in case of fraud. If executed as planned, the attacker will receive 25 million MIR tokens.

The public blockchain network Terra has confirmed an ongoing phishing attack through an official government poll on Mirror, an internal aggregated asset protocol.
According to Terra Mirror, the attacker launched a public poll on the official Mirror World Wide Web that suggests freezing the community group in the event of fraud.

According to survey ID: 211, entitled “Freezing Community Groups in Case of Scams,” the scammer suggested updating community governance rules to be more secure in the event of a hack. If the hacker wins a positive majority in the poll, 25 million MIR tokens (valued at $ 24.1 million at press time) will be sent to the hacker’s address.
As the screenshot above shows, Mirror’s proactive approach to alerting the community has resulted in a significant increase in the number of no-votes – confirming the fund’s safety.
