CropBytes is a Metaverse game project that started in 2018 and is one of the oldest crypto farming games still in operation. Style of play

The game includes 3 main roles:

Farmer: Plan to begin your farm journey.

Traders: use their assets to buy and sell, exchange them with other assets to increase their net worth.

Owner: Deciding to buy and hold a particular property, just like the owner would in real life.

Players can plan their own development direction. Missions are entirely player selected, and players can choose to focus on a major growth direction or two, or expand to own a bit of each. Players can also choose to become owners and buy and hold the property in the hopes that its value will increase over time or trade frequently.

The game revolves around collaboration through buying and selling items between players. Since most players are likely to have only a handful of assets, in order to grow they will need to interact and trade with other players to maintain or participate in events that require joint participation.

CropBytes also uniquely introduces NFTs to its game. NFTs will play an important role as they are rare and have specific skills that can greatly enhance a player’s gaming experience along with their portfolio.
