Binance CEO CZ Now Becomes The Richest Man In Asia With His Over $96 Billion Net Worth
Binance’s CEO, Changpeng Zhao (CZ), has risen to the top of the world’s wealthiest person list.
Because of the significant expansion of the cryptocurrency industry, Changpeng Zhao, the founder of Binance, has become Asia’s wealthiest man and the world’s 11th wealthiest man. With a net worth of over $96 billion, this 44-year-old man has overtaken Mukesh Ambani, the former richest man in Asia.
Binance’s rapid growth suggests it might overtake IT giants like Meta’s Mark Zuckerberg and Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin.
According to Bloomberg, the amount was calculated using Binance’s estimated sales last year and Mr. Zhao’s 90% share in the company. Binance made more than $20 billion in income last year, nearly three times as much as Coinbase, the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the United States.
CZ may have a far higher net worth than the report presented because the estimate excludes his personal crypto assets (including Bitcoin and Binance coin), which has seen a 1,250% increase in value in the last year alone.
