Chuck Liddell, Former UFC Champion, Invested in 3 Cryptocurrencies, Including The Famous $SHIB.
Chuck Liddell, the former UFC light-heavyweight champion, has revealed his intention to invest in three prominent cryptocurrencies, including the Dogecoin’s rivalĀ cryptocurrency Shiba Inu ($SHIB).
Last week, Chuck Liddell, a former UFC champion who has dabbled with cryptoassets, posted a Twitter poll asking community members to vote on three altcoins: Dogecoin ($DOGE), Shiba Inu ($SHIB), and SafeMoon ($SAFEMOON). Safemoon dominated the survey with 43.8% after more than 180,000 votes were counted, followed by Shiba Inu at 30.6% and Dogecoin in third place at 25.5%
Chuck Liddell praised the crypto community for taking part in the vote in a later tweet. He proclaimed his intention to invest “money and diversify” among the three cryptocurrencies based on the proportion of votes they got. While Liddell did not reveal the amount of money he would be contributing, he did state that his choice was influenced by the community’s “enthusiasm” for the vote process.
In November, the former UFC champion revealed his developing interest in cryptoassets with a series of tweets, including a request for community members to assist him in understanding the distinctions between dog meme cryotoassets $DOGE and $SHIB.
Liddell joins a growing number of current and past MMA fighters, like Ben Askren and Eddie Alvarez, who are interested in cryptoassets.
