NFT Market News: Salesforce is planning an NFT marketplace

According to various sources citing an online Salesforce event, cloud-based company Salesforce is planning an NFT marketplace.

The San Francisco-based company is traded on the New York Stock Exchange and is a market leader in cloud solutions for customer relationship management.

Salesforce co-CEO Marc Benioff bought Time Magazine, a publication that does well in the NFT space, in 2018. There have been reports of internal discussions over whether or not the company will partner, possibly as a competitor could be viewed from OpenSea.

There has been much drama in the NFT community regarding the massive response to the World Wildlife Fund’s (WWF) initial NFT effort. The foundation has sought to develop NFTs that help educate individuals and raise funds for environmental activism.
