306 Million SHIB Were Burned Over Last 24 Hours
SHIB Burn Party
Shibburn stated that in the previous 24 hours, a total of 306,104,347 SHIB were transferred to dead wallets, from which no one can withdraw or even use them.
As a result, another significant portion of SHIB has been removed from the circulating supply, which had previously totaled a mind-boggling one quadrillion. To burn so many tokens, the community had to make 30 transfers to unspendable wallets.
According to Shibburn, another 32,995 Shiba Inu tokens were burned an hour later.
During a live YouTube livestream on Valentine’s Day, crypto record label Bigger Entertainment burned a total of 240,192,701 tokens during a scheduled burn party.
Bigger Entertainment CEO Steven Cooper said via Twitter before the SHIB burn party that almost one billion Shiba Inu tokens will be burnt this week. Bigger Entertainment has burnt 240.1 million, and today, February 15, gaming platform @317 key will burn around 500 million SHIB through one of its mobile phone games—Bricks Buster. Cooper, along with other SHIB burn projects, predicted that close to one billion SHIB will be burnt this week and challenged the community to aim for two billion the following week.
