Ukraine Will Launch an NFT Collection to aid in the war effort.

Since the beginning of the conflict between Ukraine and Russia, digital assets such as cryptocurrencies and non-fungible tokens (NFTs) have aided Ukraine a lot. Alex Bornyakov, the government’s deputy minister of digital transformation, has now stated that he wants the country to develop its own NFT collection.

NFT collection would be like a museum of the Russian-Ukrainian war. We want to tell the world in NFT format” he said.

According to the minister, the collection of digital art would help fund the country’s combat operations. Each token would contain a piece of art depicting a story from a reliable news source. Bornyakov expects the collection to be “cool, good-looking, and it takes time.

“We don’t use this fund to buy weapons at this point. We’re buying night-vision goggles, optics, helmets, bulletproof vests,” he told

The money raised by Ukraine’s Ministry of Digital Transformation was used to purchase 5,550 protective jackets, 410,000 packed lunches, thermal goggles, and medicine, among other things. Donations in the cryptocurrency have surpassed $60 million for Ukraine.

“Crypto-assets proved extremely helpful in the facilitation of funding to the Amed Forces of Ukraine. Huge thanks to everyone who donated to the Crypto Fund of Ukraine,” he tweeted on March 11. “Each and every helmet and vest bought via crypto donations are currently saving Ukrainian soldiers’ lives.”
