The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) of the United Kingdom is looking for new crypto recruits to spearhead its regulatory push.
According to a recent LinkedIn post, the United Kingdom’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is now seeking new hires to lead its crypto section and has encouraged submissions via social media for the position of Head of Digital Assets Department.
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is looking for new applicants with a crypto/blockchain background to manage its impending crypto branch. The FCA intends to establish an autonomous crypto division/department soon in order to regulate the business in a systematic manner.
The latter job advertisement was posted a week ago and is seeking to hire individuals who can take up responsibility “for policy and supervision related to payments, e-money, and crypto-assets as well as other emerging business models across the financial services industry.”
The FCA appears to be stepping up its efforts to establish a new crypto section to better oversee the crypto business. The FCA announced a crackdown on Bitcoin ATMs in the country last week as part of its initiative to combat illicit cryptocurrency launching and frauds. Importantly, the FCA’s widely anticipated crypto division wants to establish a distinct crypto department, with an emphasis on effective industry regulation in order for the industry to develop and thrive.
Their new post appears to play an important role in rigorously regulating the industry and assisting the organization in taking the lead in crypto-related problems and matters.
This might be your opportunity? Why don’t you guys give it a try and apply?
