Bored Ape Yacht Club Now Has a Burger Pop-Up Restaurant in California

Bored Ape community decided to establish a pop-up restaurant

Bored & Hungry was founded after Kevin Seo, Andy Nguyen, and other members of the Bored Ape community wanted to open a popup restaurant based on Bored Ape #6184.

Bored & Hungry describes itself as a “smash burger-themed” concept in collaboration with Houston rapper Bun B’s Trill Burgers and Belief Burgers, and customers can pay with $ETH or $APE.

Bored & Hungry is located on Long Beach’s popular 7th Street in California. Early Saturday morning, a line formed that extended down the block, with cameras clicking and even drones buzzing overhead. The big opening was a mix of people of various ages, ethnicities, and genders, all seeking to experience the first NFT fast food restaurant. Several people were wearing “Bored & Hungry” T-shirts.

According to DappRadar.com, Bored Ape Yacht Club, Yuga Labs’ Ethereum-based NFT project, has witnessed more than $1.4 billion in trading volume since its launch last April, billed as an exclusive social group of 10,000 unique NFT avatars. Snoop Dogg, Jimmy Fallon, Paris Hilton, Madonna, Stephen Curry, and Shaquille O’Neal are among the celebrities that owned at least one Bored Ape NFT.
