Coinbase Partners with 0x to Power Their New Social NFT Marketplace
Coinbase announced the launch of their much anticipated social marketplace for NFTs powered by 0x. With powerful multi-chain NFT swap support and the most robust feature set of any NFT exchange protocol, 0x was the obvious choice to power the new marketplace. Additionally, with 0x Protocol v4 being up to 54% more gas efficient, Coinbase marketplace users will enjoy low trading costs. Beyond just letting users buy and sell NFTs, Coinbase also wants its marketplace to be a place where communities can engage with one another.
“The rise of NFT communities have shown us that online conversation extends far beyond the moments around transactions. We’re building a place that’s for more than just buying and selling. We want Coinbase NFT to be a place that helps creators and collectors build and engage their communities.” – Sanchan Saxena, VP of Product at Coinbase
“We’re thrilled that Coinbase is using 0x to power their new social marketplace for NFTs and anticipate this launch will unlock a massive wave of new users into the blockchain space. We look forward to seeing many more apps and marketplaces take advantage of 0x Protocol’s robust NFT swap feature set and industry-leading gas efficiency in the coming future.” – Will Warren, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of 0x Labs
0x Protocol is the backbone for decentralized exchange and the trusted open-source standard for swapping NFTs across many blockchains. Building on 0x significantly reduces the effort required by Web3 developers and NFT marketplaces to deliver a seamless multi-chain experience to their users, giving them more time to focus on their products.
