Coinbase Officially Listed STEPN (GST) With the Experimental Label

On April 27, Coinbase Assets Twitter (an official account that announces the listing of intending assets to be listed on Coinbase) revealed that two StepN tokens (GMT and GST) will be listed on the popular crypto exchange. However, it added that these tokens would be listed with the experimental label.

This is good news for the Move to Earn community in general and those who have been participating in StepN’s project as their tokens have increased dramatically after this announcement. The GMT token representing StepN and the GST token that players earn while running has skyrocketed, respectively. With GMT over 15% and GST at 21%, it’s not surprising that the 24h Trading Volume of these two tokens is leading the way in the Move to Earn category.

Coinbase is currently the 2nd largest exchange in the world after Binance. The fact that this exchange supports 2 tokens shows the growth in demand for trading tokens of the StepN project, a Web3 lifestyle app built on the Solana ecosystem and released in the first Beta on December 20, 2021, where participants can buy and sell virtual NFTs of shoes and use them to make a profit. The success of StepN led to Move to Earn becoming a new trend in the Blockchain world recently.

The announcement also suggested that users must not send the GMT and GST assets over other networks as these assets are solely supported on the Solana network. The values of these tokens are expected to surge sporadically after the Coinbase listing, as is often the case with the listing of tokens on the Coinbase exchange.

However, trading on these assets will start this Thursday by 9 AM ( April 28) unless liquidity terms are not met. If the liquidity conditions are met, the following trade pairs will be available: GST-USD, GMT-USD, GST-USDT, and GST-USDT. However, not all the trade pairs will be available at once.
