Nha Trang Travel Coin Is A Scam? Someone Has Impersonated Chairman of Crystal Bay Group To Issue This Coin

Nha Trang Travel Coin Is A Scam?

The Crystal Bay Group has announced that certain persons impersonating as the Chairman of the Crystal Bay Group have created the Nha Trang Travel Coin cryptocurrency, which has signs of fraud and property appropriation.

Crystal Bay Group has filed a police report alleging that a group of persons are impersonating Chairman Nguyen Duc Chi and the company to participate in a variety of activities that he believes are fraudulent.

On his own page, Crystal Bay Group’s chairman issued a warning about the situation. As a result, Nguyen Duc Chi was informed by a staff member that a number of customers had called to book a reservation using Nha Trang Travel coin.

The website https://ntcgroup.io, in particular, provides a lot of information on the Nha Trang Travel coin, which customers may use to rent a room or utilize the Group’s travel services after purchasing.

“Through preliminary inspection, we found that some people had illegally used my personal image, as well as videos and images about Cam Ranh Riviera resort to promote Nha Trang Travel coin. I also don’t know how many people have bought this fraudulent coin so far,” Thanh Nien newspaper quoted Mr. Nguyen Duc Chi as saying.

Recently, Crystal Bay Tourism Group and partner Beowulf (USA) are developing Crystabaya tourism platform (Crystabaya.io) based on blockchain technology. Therefore, scammers have taken advantage of it to conduct fraudulent activities.

“In addition to copying the model structure that we are implementing, these people also give a lot of promotional information about room rates and other travel services to make customers think it is ours,” he said. Nguyen Duc Chi said.

Because cryptocurrencies are not recognized by law in Vietnam, any transactions in this kind of asset are dangerous. At the same time, the unauthorized use of images of businesses and individuals will have unforeseeable effects for businesses, particularly given that the country has only recently reopened to international tourism following the Covid-19 pandemic.
