Great Apollo Dao will not give up but deploy Terra 2 on Cosmos

In a community update, Apollo DAO post de-peg confirmed they are not giving up on Terra and focusing our deployment on the entire Cosmos ecosystem.

Apollo Dao will create an application chain on Cosmos

Apollo DAO is a Yield Farming project with a special feature of Auto-compounding, which automatically adds interest to capital to create optimal profit without much user manipulation. It includes a set of tools that aggregate on Terra with the aim of enhancing the optimal experience for its customers.

After the demise of Terra, hard times created projects that were strong and seemingly impossible to “build back” from. This situation also provided an opportunity for the Apollo team to re-evaluate and reflect on much of its Project Apollo.

While Apollo won’t give up on Terra 2, they’ve learned an impressive lesson in putting all their eggs in one basket. Therefore, Apollo Dao will absorb the lessons learned from Terra and focus on deploying across the entire Cosmos ecosystem (including Terra 2 and other Cosmos chains).

The long-term vision of the project is to create an Apollo application chain on Cosmos. However, this will not be possible until Cosmos releases “Shared Security” (which will allow app chains like that of Cosmos). Apollo uses the ATOM validator rather than having to source Apollo’s own).

Taking a more Cosmos-centric approach expands the capabilities and addressable market for Apollo and eases deployment on Terra 2 and the ability to provide Apollo with connectivity Terra 2 and Cosmos more.

They have been in contact with Terra 2 and will continue to closely monitor developments, monitor the broader Cosmos ecosystem, and work to adapt existing Apollo protocols to be compatible with IBC 1.0.
