Whale purchases 87 billion SHIB, as Shiba Inu’s top investor balance drops

A significant ETH investor has added another huge quantity of Shiba Inu (SHIB) to his wallet, according to the WhaleStats portal, which records data relating to the largest 100 wallets on Ethereum, BSC, and other chains.

Shiba Inu’s holdings of the top 100 ETH investors have decreased while this whale has purchased over 90 billion SHIB.

The owner of the wallet known as “BlueWhale0073” acquired 86,740,251,500 Shiba Inu meme coins, according to the aforementioned data portal. He paid $1,015,728 for this amount of SHIB.

This whale, on the other hand, treats SHIB as a purely speculative asset, as he constantly sells Shiba tokens after obtaining them. SHIB and other small-cap tokens now account for only 0.2% of this investor’s portfolio.

The whale purchased the SHIB on a $0.00001136 drop and sold it when the price briefly climbed to $0.0000119. It has since dropped again. With enormous quantities of SHIB, these little movements can bring whales a substantial return.

The wallet “BlueWhale0073” includes largely USDT (62.74% of the portfolio), USDC (19.9%), and LINK at the time of writing (14.09%).

Another piece of data from WhaleStats shows that the number of Shiba Inu held by prominent Ethereum wallets has decreased over the last 24 hours.

The whales’ crypto holdings chart revealed that they had $833,034,530 worth of Shiba on May 24. This amount has now been reduced to Shiba’s equivalent of $544,104,532. This represents 11.34% of their crypto holdings, down from 15.86% yesterday.
