ELEMENTS

All characters, weapons, weapon attributes, and enemies are assigned an element. Elements increase or decrease the chances of success when battling. Each element trumps and is trumped by another element, as follows:

Fire: Trumps in the match against the Earth group and is trumped by water.
Earth: Trumps in the match against the Lightning group and is trumped by Fire.
Lightning: Trumps in the match to overcome the water group and is trumped by Earth.
Water: Trumps in the match to overcome the Fire group and is trumped by Lightning.

CHARACTERS

On the Plaza screen, the player selects the character with whom they wish to engage in combat. After selecting a weapon, they can proceed to the battle phase of the game, where four foes appear at the bottom of the screen. It is beneficial for the player to link their character’s element with their weapon and choose an enemy who is trumped by this element. Before picking which enemy to battle, the player should examine the strength of the opponents. The game’s available foes are refreshed every hour, so it may be in your best advantage to wait for one to enhance your odds of winning.

The player will pay a little BNB gas price to engage in combat with a chosen foe. The game then rolls for battle results and records them on the blockchain. If the fight ends in the player’s favor, the player receives SKILL and character experience. If the outcome is a loss, the player will receive nothing.

WEAPONS

Weapons in CryptoBlades are divided into five tiers. The tiers are graded on a scale of one to five stars.

One-star weapons with an average of 102 (25.5% extra power at 102).
Two-star weapons with an average of 240 (60% extra power at 240).
Three-star weapons with an average of 340 (85% extra power at 340).
Four-star weapons with an average of 300 (150% extra power at 600).
Five-star weapons with an average of 334.

When the player creates their first character, they are given a one-star weapon. Weapons will be minted with one of the four elements, just like characters (fire, earth, lightning, fire).

COMBAT

Combat is where the action takes place! The player first selects the character they want to enter in combat within the Plaza. They then select to enter Combat where they will choose their weapon. Once the weapon has been chosen, four enemy combatants will appear. The player can then select the combatant that they want their character to face off against.
