Cardano Adds Non-Fungible Tokens To Its Native CDN

The Cardano (ADA) blockchain will be used by new service NFTCDN.io to overcome substantial data transfer constraints in the non-fungible tokens (NFTs) segment.

Cardano now supports the NFTCDN.io protocol

The platform becomes live to improve and optimize data transfer in the NFT segment, according to a statement released on social media by the NFTCDN.io team.

NFTCDN.io is creating a content delivery network (CDN) for NFT marketplaces, wallets, and on-chain games with integrated NFTs, among other things.

The product’s technical focus is on improving content logistics between content storage (videos, photographs, audio files, and documents), metadata storage, and content-related Web3 services.

NFTCDN.io supports all content storage systems and methodologies, including centralized (HTTPS, centralized cloud services), Web3-native (Arweave, IPFS), and on-chain (NFTCDN.io) (Base64-encoded).

By the end of 2022, the first release will be available

The platform is scheduled to support numerous types of image files (JPEG, PNG, SVG, AVIF, ICO, HEIC, BMP, TIFF, and GIF) in its first releases, which are slated to arrive by the end of the year.

As a result, the latency of NFT-centric protocols will be lowered. Additionally, the Cardano-based NFTCDN.io connection will be able to cut transactional costs and resource expenses.

Unlike traditional CDNs, the NFTCDN.io platform will be able to edit and watermark photos.
