Trump’s NFT Collection Fluctuates During The Weekend
During its initial weekend, the floor price for Donald Trump’s NFT collection fluctuated. On Thursday, the former president’s collection was out of stock within hours of being on sale.
According to data from OpenSea, the so-called digital trading card collection peaked late on Saturday afternoon at 0.839 ETH and has since dropped to 0.295 ETH.
As of Sunday afternoon, there had been 21,479 sales totaling 5,824 ETH.
On Saturday, the most expensive NFT on OpenSea sold for 37 ETH, or almost $41,000 at the current exchange rate. Trump is shown in the black and white photo standing in front of a staircase while wearing a tuxedo.
A one-on-one visit with Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago and hand-signed souvenirs were among the sweepstakes prizes offered with the collection’s initial mint price of $99 per card when it was first announced. Additionally, it promised tickets to a gala dinner with Trump in South Florida to those who purchased 45 NFTs.
In the opening scene of NBC’s “Saturday Night Live,” Trump and the collection were parodied.
