Moonriver is one of many successful parachains on Kusama and has secured a parachain position for 2022 with over 60 live integrations, 173,000+ wallets and over 2,000 supported ERC-20 tokens.
Kusama is Polkadot’s sister network, which has grown to a new ATH by 15% in anticipation of parachain auctions, allowing developers to register their parachains and seek crowdfunding.
Moonriver is a Canary test network owned by Moonbeam, which means that it is a small version of the Moonbeam code that was originally used to test and implement new functionality for a small group of volunteer users.
At the time of this writing, Moonbeam ranks second in the top five community loans in Polkadot’s first Parachain auction and has raised over $ 1 billion through its crowdfunding.
