MeowSwap, an Occam Occelerator project, will start on OccamRazer.
Press release
ZUG, December 10, 2021 – MeowSwap, one of the first decentralized exchanges (DEXs) that was started on the Cardano mainnet and an Occelerator incubator project, will shortly start an Initial DEX Offering (IDO) on its decentralized OccamRazer base on December 10th.
MeowSwap combines a proprietary Layer 2 scaling technology natively based on Cardano, combined with a seamless user interface that ultimately enables direct token trading on Cardano.
After successfully implementing a layer 2 authorized order execution system and implementing its beta on a single node, MeowSwap is now preparing to combine multiple Cardano nodes and becoming fully decentralized.MeowSwap uses the Cardano backbone to store and record deposits and withdrawals in a trustworthy and secure manner, while using L2 nodes to handle the processing load for exchange operations management, liquidity pool and transaction data. This design minimizes the amount of data required to validate transactions over the Cardano backbone, effectively eliminating the problem of block size constraints.
The MEOW token is first launched on OccamRazer, which is being sold as a native Cardano token, having started its public demo very soon.
Elliot Hill, Head of Communications at Occam.fi, said:
“We look forward to incubating MeowSwap, releasing your MEOW token on OccamRazer and working closely with your team for the foreseeable future. We will be fully focused on making sure the MeowSwap team has a great start on December 10th at IDO. In the future we will look for synergies so that we can introduce aspects of the company. New MeowSwap technology in our own products, such as OccamX DEX. This is the beginning of a fruitful partnership for the future of the Cardano ecosystem. ”
Through MeowSwap, the era of liquidity for Cardano-native tokens can finally begin, with a public trading interface planned for the beginning of the first quarter of 2022. The synchronization of Coin Oracle, the introduction of liquidity pools and custom swap areas as well as improved wallet support are also planned for the beginning of 2022.
Through MeowSwap, the liquidity era for Cardano native tokens is finally ready to begin, with a public trading interface scheduled for early Q1 2022. Also scheduled for early 2022 is Oracle synchronization, launch of liquidity pools and custom swap ranges and enhanced wallet support.
