Singapore’s Next-Gen Tycoons Join the NFT Craze With the Launch of a Collaboration Platform for Entrepreneurs

Kiat Lim, the son of Singaporean billionaire Peter Lim, has joined the non-fungible token (NFT) trend by launching a private digital community for future generation businesses on a blockchain-powered platform.

Lim collaborated with Elroy Cheo, a scion of the Singaporean family that controls the edible oils business Mewah International, to establish ARC as an exclusive community of Asian entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, Web3 developers, cryptocurrency specialists, and social influencers.

ARC cofounder Kiat Lim said in a statement:

“Access today, share opportunities tomorrow, that’s our tokenization strategy and what makes ARC stand out from any other networking platform. ARC’s ambition is to be a bridge across the real and virtual world today, and, in the near future, the ARC metaverse.”

Lim’s second technology business, ARC, was founded in 2012. In October, he and his father created ZujuGP, a football-themed web community backed by Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo. Lim is also the executive director of Thomson Medical Group and the CEO of Thomson X, the healthcare provider’s digital platform.

The ARC app, which employs NFTs to validate membership, has already been released in beta form on the Apple App Store, making it available to iPhone users. ARC is also working on an Android app version of the software.
