Vogue Singapore & Ukraine have listed NFTs to raise funds for Save The Children and support to all the children in Ukraine

Vogue Singapore in collaboration with Vogue Ukraine curates an NFT collection to support and stand with the people of Ukraine. Six Ukrainian fashion designers submitted artworks, images, and graphics to the ‘Fashion for Peace’ collection, which celebrates their country’s culture, customs, and design sense. Each piece of artwork is a one-of-a-kind manifestation of the brand’s ethos and personal story, as well as a reflection of what home means to them.

100% of all primary sales proceeds go towards Save The Children to support their humanitarian relief efforts in Ukraine.

Save the Children called on governments and groups on Monday to increase efforts to protect an estimated 100,000 Ukrainian children who have been separated from family members or are victims of abuse, exploitation, trafficking, and neglect since Russia’s invasion.

“With digital fashion and fashion NFTs they are a lot more accessible to a larger audience and having them on the blockchain allows the user to authenticate its origin and value,” Bettina Von Schlippe, publisher of Vogue Singapore told. This, in turn, reduces the barrier to participate, purchase and donate to a charity.”

“With limitations presented by banks and charities to donate funds from overseas to help those in Ukraine, blockchain and crypto appeared as the seamless solution by charities and organizations that are looking to fundraise for the people of Ukraine,” Von Schlippe said. At the time of publication, Ukraine had received various crypto donations totaling more than US$78 million.
