What is Bistroo? A Platform for Restaurants to Take Control

Takeaway platforms have made it convenient to enjoy our favorite meals, but they have created challenges for the restaurants we adore.

Existing platforms impose unreasonable fees on restaurants while also controlling data, pay-outs, client relations, loyalty, and contact. This results in higher costs for both consumers and restaurants.

Bistroo changes this by offering a platform that gives businesses back control.

We provide a superior user experience, lower transaction costs, and a fairer infrastructure. Our objective is to provide the tools, insights, and support needed to facilitate peer-to-peer relationships for our merchants.

We facilitate without dictating. Instead of controlling it, we have developed a platform that enables the connection between restaurants, food merchants, and consumers. Merchants have complete control over their payments, product selection, orders, advertising, and analytics. They can communicate directly with their customers and receive instant payment upon order receipt.

Our operational product launched on March 3rd, 2020 in the Netherlands and currently has over 25k active and recurring users, generating a monthly platform turnover of 250k USD (see HERE for up-to-date stats).

The utility will become globally available through the launch of the Bistroo.com instance, ultimately providing a platform for every merchant worldwide to onboard themselves and offer their products to customers online.

• Order givebacks: Receive 1% of the order cost back in BIST token for every order placed using FIAT, and 2% back if you use BIST Tokens to place the order.

Bistroo was established by Bas Roos, CEO, and Bob Dohmen, CTO in late 2018.
