Bunicorn, or BUNI, is a decentralized exchange (DEX) and automated market-maker (AMM) built on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC). It was launched in July 2021 and offers a unique combination of flexible Balancer AMM-style pools for BEP-20 tokens as well as stablecoin AMM pools.

Bunicorn distinguishes itself as more than just an NFT platform or blockchain game.

As a DEX, Bunicorn supports flexible pools that can include up to 8 tokens with varying weights. It also offers stable pools that ensure low slippage and high capital efficiency for stablecoins.

Bunicorn (BUNI) Circulating Supply

BUNI, the native token of Bunicorn, is currently being distributed through an initial coin offering (ICO). The ongoing public sale will allocate 6,666,666 BUNI tokens.

The total supply of BUNI tokens is 1 billion. This distribution is broken down as follows: 24.43% reserved for the Foundation (locked for 3 months after launch, then unlocked over 48 months); 24% for the Bunicorn Ecosystem (locked for 1 month, then unlocked over 48 months); 20% reserved for liquidity mining (to be unlocked over 48 months); 14% reserved for the operation of the network; 7.5% issued during a private sale; 5.9% reserved for the development team; 3.5% reserved for marketing & listing; 0.67% issued as a public IDO sale.

Securing the Bunicorn Network

The Bunicorn community plays a vital role in the governance of the platform through liquidity mining. Members who stake their tokens in the Bunicorn Network receive the governance token BUNI as staking rewards.

Staking can be done using either BUNI or BPT (Buni Pool Token). Liquidity providers receive BPT instead of BUNI for providing liquidity to an AMM pool.

To prevent liquidity providers from immediately selling their tokens, Bunicorn implements a new liquidity mining model. Farming rewards are wrapped up as VBUNI, which can be converted into actual BUNI tokens after a vesting period. Alternatively, users can auction their VBUNI as NFTs in well-known marketplaces.

Bunicorn's smart contracts have undergone successful audits by Hacken.io, ensuring security. Additionally, the platform receives security support from Certik and Immunefi.
