3. Ability to Stake

Our users can stake their $KOM tokens directly from their browser wallet on our staking portal at https://staking.kommunitas.net/. Stakers can choose from three staking durations, with longer durations offering higher interest rates. In return, they will earn a generous amount of interest, paid out in $KOM at the end of the staking period. The amount of $KOM staked will also determine the Staker's guaranteed allocation during Token Sales.

4. Governance Function

KOM token holders can vote on future developments of the project. To participate in voting, holders need a minimum of 3,000 KOM. Each holder with at least 3,000 KOM will receive one voting right and contribute to shaping the future of the project and other projects launched on the Kommunitas Platform.

The Circulation of KOM Tokens

Kommunitas launched its platform on 20 May 2021 with an initial supply of 40 Billion KOM tokens. However, on 23 January 2021, we reduced the max supply from 40B KOM to 2B KOM by burning tokens in our DxLock contract at the end of each month.
