Solrise Finance is a Solana blockchain-based asset management platform. It operates in a decentralized, trustless, and non-custodial manner, enabling individuals to initiate or invest in a fund with a minimum of $20.

The establishment of Solrise was driven by the frustration triggered by Robinhood's choice to suspend GME stock trading. The team recognized the limited options available to retail investors for investing small amounts on Ethereum-based asset management platforms due to high transaction fees.

Introducing the Visionaries of Solrise Finance

Most of the team members have been lifelong friends who initially bonded over their shared passion for playing Counter Strike. Their inquisitiveness led them to form a development team and after exploring various technical realms, they eventually delved into the realm of blockchain. Over the past five years, they have created products on Ethereum, Cosmos, Polkadot, Near, Hyperledger, Kava, and Terra. When they encountered Solana, they made a full commitment to its potential.

Before Solrise Finance, the team successfully developed two widely-used products on Solana: Solflare, a popular wallet in the Solana ecosystem, and Solana Beach, a cutting-edge explorer for SPL tokens. Vidor Gencel (CEO + Lead Architect) founded Solrise Finance, along with co-founders Matt Martin (COO/CPO) and Filip Dragoslavic (Head of Business Development).
